let's show you what's involved with Stage Manager Training

We need to continue to develop our our current stage management team and are running regular stage manager courses.

We’ll run through what the role and responsibilities are in a hands-on approach and then allow you to shadow a more experienced stage manager in a live show.  Having run the training several times now we now have people shadowing as assistant stage manager (like Jennifer in Lizzy Darcy and Jane) . Our Stage Managers are an active part of the team and often find themselves changing scenes, fully costumed, in full view of the audience so it’s an opportunity to tread the boards without having the slog of line learning!

We are planning to run Stage manager training on the Monday during Saddleworth Players shows ( the night off in the middle) when all the stage and set is ready for a show and we can talk stage managers to be through what they have to do.
