Season Launch 24-25 Saddleworth Players

2024-25 Season launch

Wednesday 8th May 730pm for 8pm

We’re excited to say that we’ve finalised the choice of 24-25 Season’s plays and would love you to come and hear all about them with a view to expressing interest in acting, crewing, or working in front of house roles.

Launch new Season to Saddleworth Players : Wednesday 8th May 7.30pm drinks for 8pm start in the bar.

Over a drink (or two!) the directors will take you through their play choice and outline the cast and crew they are looking for.

Our April play, Jim Cartright’s The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, is coming to us with a cast that successfully performed it at the Rochdale Curtain Theatre, but the other 4 plays (and 2 of them are really large casts) need you!

We’ll be holding auditions for the September and November shows in May and June. The first one of these, directed by Mark Rosenthal, is already planned for Sunday May 19th at 3pm.

All of them will need crew, so please think about your skill set and sign up to work with us. We’ve started running training sessions and would be happy to train you in any role. It would be great if we could see more of our actors support other shows by helping backstage, on the bar or in the box office.
